Product descriptions, policies and blog content already work by reading your pages, no connection needed. The connector adds what only your admin knows: current price and stock, and a verified shopper's own orders.

What is the store connector?
A direct connection to your Shopify or WooCommerce admin. It adds live price and stock, plus order status and order history for a verified shopper, on top of the storefront reading AidEcho already does.
Do I need it to use AidEcho on my store?
No. Product descriptions, policies and blog content are read from your pages the moment you add the assistant, with no store connection at all. The store connector is for the part only your admin knows: live inventory and a shopper's own orders.
How does a shopper get access to their order?
They verify with something only they would know, typically their order number plus the email or postcode on the order. Nothing order-specific is shown before that check passes.
Which platforms does it support?
Shopify and WooCommerce today.
What decides which card shows in the chat?
What was asked. A search becomes a scannable list, a single product becomes a price and stock card, and an order becomes a status card. The layout is chosen automatically, not configured by hand.
Can a shopper act on a widget, not just read it?
Yes. Add to basket, start a return, check a discount code and book a slot are offered directly in the reply whenever that action would actually succeed, checked against real stock, eligibility and store rules at that moment. Nothing to configure per product or per rule, and new widget types ship every release.
